Volunteering in Visitor Education is no small feat. Our volunteers need to be flexible, friendly, and fearless in the face of ever-changing information. That’s what makes May’s Volunteer of the Month, Madison Morris, such a champion. Serving for over 200 hours in the past year, Madison has contributed to the positive and supportive world of Visitor Education. Whether she is answering guest questions, roving with a bio-fact, or just stopping to say hello, Madison has made a huge impact on the New England Aquarium team. Madison’s supervisor, Matt, wrote:
“Madison Morris is exceptional at being flexible with her schedule, and always coming in to work with a can-do attitude. I can rely on her to always be on time, in uniform, and ready to learn. Her enthusiasm for her job is infectious, and she puts a smile on the face of every visitor and staff member that she encounters.”
A million “Thank you”s to Madison for being such a stellar volunteer!
